It will not be a ghost town at night with the CBD Incentive Scheme which was announced when the Draft Master Plan 2019 was introduced.

Office buildings which did not refurnish for the past 20 years will be eligible. The scheme will be applied at office dominated areas, such as Robinson Road, Shenton Way and Tanjong Pagar areas. Plot ratio is increased from 20 to 30 per cent dependent on the location of the buildings.

The Ministry of National Development wants to streets to be filled with boutique gyms and hip food outlets, adding more buzz with activities and more life after office hours.

Midtown Bay is part of the 2,000 private homes planned for Rochor and Downtown areas.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
